Small Parcel is the smallest original in The Republic of Dogs collection to date, measuring 16 × 20 inches unframed. Painted in thick, textured acrylic with a satin sheen, the work presents an oversized “Small Parcel” postage stamp featuring a chihuahua-style pup whose personality far exceeds its scale.
In the fictional economy of the Republic of Dogs, this stamp costs just 5 treats — the lowest value in the series so far. However, the work quietly resists the idea that size or price determines impact. The bold colour palette — slate grey, blue, yellow, and an unapologetically dominant fluorescent pink — gives the piece a vivid, contemporary energy, reinforcing the notion that the smallest parcels often carry the most presence.
